Training of trainers on women human rights advocacy organized by institutions including Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC) from June 16 has been completed on June 19.
Dr. Indira Shrestha, Chairperson of INSEC mentioned that the sustainable development goal can only be achieved after the assurance of women’s participation in leadership.
She also informed that the cases of human rights violation against women and children is highest amongst the cases documented by INSEC.
Chairperson Shrestha is of view that participation of women in every field is imperative given their incomparable role in the overall development.
Executive Director of INSEC, Bijaya Raj Gautam said that all the participants of training of trainer will have to provide same kind of training in their respective areas, establish themselves in the cooperative and coordinating role and actively advocate to ensure justice to the victims.
The program was conducted in coordination with RSD Microfinance Institution Limited and women for peace and democracy, Nepal.
