Police have arrested Parameshwar Sah, 21 on May 29 on the charge of killing 27-year-old Rajkumari Sah of Bode Bersain Municipality-1, Dhangadhi. He was arrested on May 29, 2022.
A police team deployed from Area Police Office, Bode Bersain Saptari has arrested the accused while he was hiding in the village.
It is alleged that the accused had set fire to his sister-in-law by sprinkling petrol on her in the morning of February 4, 2022.
The victim was critically injured and she died in Biratnagar on February 5 while undergoing treatment. The postmortem of the body was conducted at Koshi Hospital, Biratnagar on February 6.
Badri Sah, father the victim of Bode Bersain Municipality-6 had lodged a complaint at the Area Police Office, Kadarbona on February 5 alleging that Parameshwor had set fire to the body of the victim while she was cooking.
The complaint was registered by the Area Police Office, Kadarbona on February 9. The deceased has a two-year-old daughter and an eight-year-old son.
