The number of COVID-19 infected people has reached 979,091 after additional four new cases were detected positive in Nepal on May 25, 2022. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 967,011 of the total infected have recovered, and the recovery rate has reached 98.8% along with the nine latest recovered. There are 128 active infected cases at present.
According to the Ministry, 1,889 swab tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Till now, the death toll has reached 11,952. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, no death was recorded. On May 25, 828 people were tested through the antigen process and two were diagnosed positive with COVID-19. Till date, 140,217 people have been diagnosed positive with the antigen method. The number of infected, cured, and active cases has not been separated in this data. Till May 25, 19,783,597 people have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
