Police have arrested Khagendra Bhandari, 38, of Phedap Rural Municipality-2 Silgudi on November 22, 2021, on the accusation of raping a 30-year-old woman.
The victim was raped on November 22 and she had lodged a complaint against the accused at the Area Police Office, Oyakjung on the same day.
Inspector Komal Thakur of the District Police Office told INSEC that the accused was arrested based on the complaint filed by the victim.
The victim’s health checkup was conducted at the District Hospital on November 23.
