The District Police Office has registered a complaint against Rasid Miya, 29, Mustak Miya, 28, Najan Miya, 27 of Rajbiraj Municipality-1 and Gafaar Miya, 28, of Rajbiraj Municipality-8 on October 4, 2021, in accusation of kidnapping and hostage-taking Ajay Kumar Das, 23, of Rajbiraj Municipality-1.
The victim had lodged a complaint at the District Police Office on October 3 alleging that the accused had surrounded him on the way to Gulab Garage on Kanchanrup Road on September 28 and abducted him.
With the complaint, the victim had also submitted a video to the police as evidence that the accused had tied a rope to the bamboo legs and beaten them while pouring water.
According to the victim, they had covered his mouth with a towel and rope and took him, hostage, at a chicken farm located at a distance of 300 metres.
He said that the victim managed to escape from the hands of the accused and informed the police.
The victim has been treated at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital in Rajbiraj on September 30. DSP Madhav Prasad Kafle said that a search for the accused was underway.
