Police have arrested Narayan Giri, 20, of Jaljala Rural Municipality-8 on August 30, 2021, on the charge of raping a 14-year-old girl.
Inspector Rajendra Adhikari of the District Police Office Parbat informed INSEC that the victim’s mother had lodged a complaint at the District Police Office Parbat on August 30 alleging that the accused had raped her daughter on August 29.
He said that the police was investigating the incident by filing a case of rape against the accused on September 1 through the District Attorney’s Office.
The victim’s health checkup was conducted at the District Hospital, Parbat on September 1.
