The police have informed that the dead body of Bimalakumari Parajuli, 45, of Nechasalyan Rural Municipality-2 of Solukhumbu district has been found in the court premises on July 12, 2021. She was working as an office assistant in the Ilam Bench of the High Court Biratnagar.
DSP Mahendra Kumar Shrestha of the District Police Office told INSEC that the dead body was found half-naked in the garden of the Ilam Bench of the High Court. She was in office uniform. DSP Shrestha further added that it seemed like she was killed after a sexual activity but the reality would be known only after investigation and post-mortem report.
According to DSP Shrestha, the incident will be made public on July 13 and the body will be handed over to the family of the victim side. The postmortem of the body was done at the District Hospital on July 12.
