Police have arrested Tarasin Dhami, 40, of Arjun Rural Municipality-3 in Darchula district on April 12 on the charge of attempting to rape a 56-year-old disabled woman.
The victim has been undergoing treatment at Sushma Memorial Hospital in Jorpati, Kathmandu since April 4.
According to DSP Hari Khatiwada, the victim’s husband had lodged a complaint at the District Police Office on April 4 alleging attempted and the complaint was filed on April 13.
The victim has undergone medical examination at the Thapathali Maternity Home in Kathmandu on April 13.
According to DSP Khatiwada, a case has been registered against the accused under section 219.
