Police have arrested the victim’s 23-year-old brother on charges of raping his 14-year-old girl.
According to Inspector Jagdish Regmi of the Area Police Office, Belchautara, the accused was arrested from near his house on March 17 night after receiving information that the accused had raped the victim several times before and on March 14.
He informed that a team of police went to the village to find out about the incident after a commotion broke out in the village.
According to Inspector Regmi, the victim lodged a complaint against the accused at the Area Police Office, Belchautara on March 18.
The victim underwent a medical examination at Damauli Hospital on March 18.
