Gopal Sunar, 28, of Bangad Kupinde Municipality-2 of Salyan has been sentenced to two months imprisonment and fined NRs. 10,000 as compensation to the victim by the district court for sexually abusing a 19-year-old girl.
Hemant Gyawali informed that the bench of District Court Judge Kul Prasad Pandey had given such a verdict to Sunar on March 3.
The victim had filed a case in the District Court, Salyan on September 25 alleging that the accused had sexually abused her on September 18. The court has stated that the accused is on the list of absconders.
