Police have arrested three cadres of the banned Nepal Communist Party (CPN) led by Netra Bikram Chand (Biplav) from Kathmandu on January 6, 2021.
The arrested have been identified as Bhimsen Ghimire, 40, of Bagmati Rural Municipality-5, Makwanpur, Kathmandu, Hari Bahadur Chand, 37, of Kathmandu District and Birendra Shahi, 28, of Aathbis Municipality-3 of Dailekh District.
A joint team of the Special Bureau of Police and the Metropolitan Police Office, Ranipokhari arrested them from different places in Kathmandu, said DSP Pramish Bista of the Kathmandu Metropolitan Police.
According to DSP Pramish Bista, the three have been kept in custody at the Kathmandu Police Circle, Teku after conducting a medical examination at Bir Hospital.
