Police have arrested Subash Rai, 33, of Deumai Municipality-8 on the charge of murdering Namrata Rai, 27, of Ambote on January 5, 2021.
According to DSP Lal Dhwaj Subedi of the District Police Office, the victim died on the spot when the accused attacked her with a khukuri during a domestic dispute.
The post-mortem of the body has been done at the District Hospital on January 5.
