The body of Sumina Tamang, 6, of Grang in Kalika Rural Municipality-1 has been found dead on December 8. School uniform, bag, and noodles were also found near the scene.
The victim had been missing from Grang Primary School since December 6. A 19-year-old woman of Kispang Rural Municipality-5 of Nuwakot District has been arrested by the Area Police Office, Kalika on December 7 on suspicion of abducting a girl from her school, informed DSP Indra Subedi of District Police Office.
Police have assumed that the girl was abducted and killed because of the gold earring in her ear. According to the District Police Office, the incident is under investigation.
