A 55-year-old father has been sentenced to one and a half years of imprisonment for sexually abusing his 15-year-old girl.
A bench of Judge Balaram Tripathi sentenced the accused to one year and six months imprisonment and charged a fine of Rs. 10,000 in a verdict passed on November 29.
The victim was abused on January 17, 2020, and the complaint was filed against the accused on January 18 accusing him of abusing her.
The accused was arrested on the same day and the investigation was started.
She was rehabilitated at a safe house in Pokhara by the initiative of Parbat INSEC representative.
