Police have arrested Keshav Bhujel, 34, of Jalparod in Pokhara Metropolitan City-9 on November 26 on the charge of involving a 24-year-old girl in prostitution.
DSP Subash of District Police Office, Kaski said that the victim has lodged a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office, Kaski on November 26 alleging that the accused used lured her for a good job and later forced her into prostitution.
He informed that the Kaski District Court has extended the time limit by 10 days for investigation against the accused of human trafficking and handed over the victim to her relatives after counselling.
The victim has been examined at the Western Regional Hospital on November 26.
