Uttam Giri, 63, of Lalitpur Metropolitan City-23, Dhapakhel has been arrested by the Metropolitan Police Circle Satdobato on October 5 on charge of sexually abusing a 14-year-old girl.
The relatives of the victim had lodged a complaint at the Metropolitan Police Circle Satdobato on September 22 alleging that the accused had sexually abused the girl.
According to DSP Mitrabandhu Sharma, Chief of the Metropolitan Police Circle, Satdobato, the accused was arrested on October 5 on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim.
The girl was examined at Patan Hospital on October 3, said Dr. Ravi Shakya, director of the hospital.
