Police have arrested Suman Kumal (22) of Jwalamukhi Rural Municipality-1 on September 11 on the charges of raping a 13-year-old girl.
The victim’s family filed a complaint at the District Police Office on September 11 and a case of rape was filed against him, informed Inspector Saroj Rai.
The victim was raped multiple times and the last time she was raped was on August 28. She has been moved to a safe house now.
Health checkup of the victim was conducted on September 26 at the Dhading Hospital.
