Market monitoring has started after the INSEC Karnali Provincial Office broadcasted the issue of lack of market monitoring in the Human Rights Radio Education Program on September 7.
According to Assistant Chief District Officer Bishnu Saahani, a team comprising administration, Bheri Municipality, Chamber of Commerce and Industry and consumers monitored the Khalanga Bazaar in the district headquarters.
According to Chief District Officer Chet Raj Baral, they monitored Shanti Chautara, Gairi Khali on September 7 and on September 8 Thanti Bazaar was monitored respectively.
During the monitoring, unregistered and un-renewed shops were also found operating and expired noodles, chewing gum, biscuits and groundnuts were also destroyed from the shops, informed Baral.
