Police have arrested Bijay Bishwokarma, 31, of Thulung Dudhkoshi Rural Municipality-4 in accusation of raping a 16-year-old girl.
The victim was raped on August 23, 2020 and the complaint was filed on August 27, 2020 at the District Police Office.
The accused was arrested immediately on August 27, 2020 from his residence after the complaint was filed, informed Inspector Mandeep Chauhan to INSEC Representative in a phone conversation.
Health checkup of the victim was conducted on August 27, at the District Hospital.
