Complaint was filed against Jahid Ansari aka Mohammad Jahid Alam of Harinagar Rural Municipality-2, accusing him of rape on a 17-year-old.
The victim was raped on 22 October 2019 and the complaint was filed on 16 March at the District Police Office, informed SP Yagya Binod Pokharel.
The accused has absconded and police is looking for them.
Health checkup of the victim was conducted at the District Hospital, Sunsari on 16 March 2020.
