Complaint was filed against Karan K.C (36) of Sunil Smriti Rural Municipality-1 Ghodagau at the Area Police Office on 13 February 2020 in accusation of raping a 23-year-old.
The victim was raped on 31 August 2019 and was threatened of being killed if told anyone. This threatening delayed her compliant. The victim was pregnant of five months due to the rape.
According to the Area Police Office, the accused had absconded and search is ongoing. Health Checkup of the victim was conducted on 12 February 2020 at the District Hospital of Reughama.
