Police has arrested Dhiraj Yadav, 23, of Koshi rural municipality-4 on 5 January charging him of rape on a 16 years old girl.
The victim was raped on 24 December and the complaint was filed at the District Police Office on 25 December after which he was arrested for further investigation, informed DSP Binod Sharma.
The victim had a health checkup at the Sunsari District Hospital on 24 December.
