Police has arrested Prem Kumar Pulami, 20, of Aathrai rural municipality-5, Iwaka on charge of raping a 34-years-old woman on 27 December.
Victim’s family filed a complaint in police station on 2 December stating accused raped her on 11 December.
DSP Nabin Kishore Pradhan of District Police Office said, the victim woman’s health checkup was conducted at District Hospital Tehrathum on 12 December.
