The District court, Jajarkot has sentenced one and half year jail and Rs. 15000 compensation to textile business man Salim Guddu, 40, of Uttar Pradesh India and currently residing at Jajarkot after being convicted of sexually abusing eight years old girl.
Nongazetted Officer of District court, Jajarkot Sarparaj Khatri said Judge Dev Kumar Giri sentenced the convict on 22 August and asked convict to compensate Rs.20 thousand to victim.
Victim’s family filed a complaint on 2 June at District Police Office stating accused sexually abused the victim on 1 June.
On basis of the complaint police arrested the accused on 2 June. Victim’s health checkup was conducted at District Hospital, Jajarkot on 2 June.
