Police have arrested 45 years old Samir Miya alias Hanuman of Tansen Municipality-5 on April 18 on charge of raping 14 years old girl.
The accused had raped the girl on April 18 and complaint was lodged against him by the victim’s party at District Police Office on a same day.
The accused was at large immediately after the incident by giving Rs 500 to the victim.
A joint team of police from District Police Office of Gulmi and Arghakhanchi have arrested the accused according to SP Deepak Kumar Basnet.
The victim underwent health checkup at District Hospital of Gulmi according to police.
