Six people were injured in a clash with police on Baitadi after one student was killed after he was squeezed by the Grader at Patan Municipality-6, Patan Bazar on March 9.
During a clash five police were injured after agitators pelted stone. Similarly, one student was injured in a baton charge by the police.

The injured were Chandra Singh Samant, 42, ASI Man Prasad Pant,43, constable Surendra Ram Damai,35, Surendra Bohara, 26, Nirp Saud, 26- and 18-years old student Siddha Bogati according to the District Police Office of Baitadi.
The demonstrators started to vandalize the Area Police Of Patan from the morning according to DSP Netra Mani Giri.
Police used 18 rounds of bullet and 15 rounds of tear gas to control the mob.

The situation was stabilized after the agreement to provide 10,00,000 to the victim’s family on the evening of March 9.
The obstructed highway of Dashrath Chand was re-opened after the situation becomes normal. On the evening of March 8, 19 years old Purna Nanda Pandey of Bhim Datta Polyclinic Institute was killed after he was hit with the Grader.
The company also agreed to search absconding driver Ratan Buda of the grader. The family agreed to receive the body of the victim after the agreement.
