Stress Given on making market monitoring regular

The stakeholders of Banke have given stress on regular market monitoring in order to control the selling of substandard food.

Stakeholders were speaking at the interaction program organized by INSEC, FWD including many other organizations in Banke on the occasion of 38th world food day.

Speaking at the interaction program, member of parliament Krishna KC of province 5 said that a debate is needed on how to make use of thousands of fertile land that are not been used for agriculture in Terai.

She has committed to initiate for the easy access of seeds and manure for the farmers.

INSEC provincial coordinator Bhola Mahat of province 5 said that our nation must be made starvation free as per the campaign.

Meanwhile, editor Jhalak Gaire of Nepalgunj Daily was felicitated in the program for his continuous effort in writing on food rights.
