Six months old Muskan Bayak of Turmakhand Rural Municipality-4 died after an acid was poured into his body by her 21 years old aunty Janaki Bayak on the night of September 19 while he was sleeping.
The victim’s father Mahabir Bayak lodged an FIR against the accused and on a same day police arrested her.
The preliminary investigation of police have revealed that the acid attack was due to the domestic dispute.
The accused has already confessed the attack and said that she poured an acid on a boy in the morning of September 18 while no one was at home according to Chief Janak Bahadur Shahi of DPO. The postmortem of the body was done at District Hospital of Mangalsen on September 19.
