The students at Sre Gautam Buddha Secondary School at Naukunda Rural Municipality-3, Phamchet are facing difficulties on study due to the delay in reconstruction of school building even after three years from the impact of devastating earthquake. Students are compelled to study in make-shift facing various problems.
Teacher Laxmi Lamichhane said that it is not possible to operate school in fearful environment. Locals accused that school administration has failed to coordinate on reconstructing of the school.
The school is also facing water issues. Students are not being able to drink clean drinking water. There are total of 290 students in the school and they are in a temporary shelter making difficulties on study. Various donors have committed to provide support however till now none of them have turned up according to principal Niranjan Bhujel.
