The District Court of Sankhuwasabha has ordered to sentence 28 years old Devendra Prasad Chapagain of Butwal sub-metropolitan-7 for three years after finding him guilty on attempting to rape 43 years old girl.
A single bench of district court judge Prakash Raut had given the verdict regarding the case. The accused had attempted to rape woman on April 13 and complaint against him was lodged on April 14 by the victim at police. He was arrested and was remanded in custody since then.
The victim underwent a health checkup at District Hospital of Khandbari on April 14.
