Inmates and Detainees complains of not getting pure drinking water

The inmates and detainees at District Prison of Dunai are facing crisis of clean drinking water due to the lack of prison management. They are compelled to drink river water.

One of the inmate, Dawa Lama complained that the inmates are compelled to drink water directly from Bheri River. Jailer Janardan Rimal however said that the problem will be solved after the completion of new prison building.

The prison is overcrowded resulting the management problem. It only has a capacity to accommodate 25 inmates and detainees however there are 31. There is lack of toilets resulting the polluted environment of the prison building. There are only two toilets.

The inmates and detainees also complained of not getting library and sports facilities in the prison.
