The beneficiaries at Chilime and Haku Health Posts at Amachodingmo Rural Municipality are in crisis due to the lack of free medicine provided by the government.
The crisis was due to the lack of coordination of the local level according to Chilime Health Organization’s chief Shambhu Pandit.
He added that there are not even a Citamol tablets. Health incharge Manish B.K said that the recently built Haku Health building is lack in quality and it does not have essential medicines.
Patients are facing difficulties as there is no coordination between the health organization and Rural Municipality according to local Sujita Tamang. The patients are compelled to pay high price to buy medicine which they are supposed to get for free from the health organization.
The locals have demanded for the immediate fulfillment of the medicine stock. There are 22 health organizations in the district including District Hospital, primary health centre and Health Posts.
