Police have arrested 25 years old Mohamad Samsag Alam of Katahariya Municipality and 45 years old Julfikar Sekh of Rajpur Municipality from lalitpur on charge of threatening to abuduct and kill municipality mayor Ramsnehi Rai Yadav of Brindaban Municipality-1.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CIB) has arrested them from Balkumari of Lalitpur. Both accused had demanded extortion money of 2 million from the victim.
The accused will be taken to Rautahat from lalitpur for further investigation according to the police.
