Police have arrested 19 years old Achutam Risal of Bardibas Municipality-2 on charge of molesting 11 years old boy.
According to the Area Police Office of Bardibas, the accused had molested the girl on February 15.
The case was attempted to settle after penalizing the accused of Rs 51,000 through Panchayat. The incident was made public after the city level child network group intervened and lodged complaint at police.
DSP Prabin Pokhrel of DPO said that the victim’s family had lodged complaint at Area Police Office of Bardibas after the incident. The accused has been arrested for investigation.
Chair person Sonu Karki of the child network demanded for the severe action against the accused.
