Nine years old Sabina Behena studying in standard two at Gyansagar Secondary School in Nepalgunj Sub-metropolis-17 was given a corporal punishment by teacher Krishna Kumari Singh on charge of not sharpening the pencil according to the victim’s party.
The frowned teacher entered into the classroom, slapped her and hit her head against the wall after she failed to sharpen her pencil according to the victim.
The victim girl sustained a head injury with swollen face. She is receiving treatment at medical and in a rest.
The victim’s father has urged the school principal to take action against the accused teacher. Assistant District Officer however denied of getting information regarding the incident.
