At least four cadres from left alliance and Nepali Congress were injured in a clash at Kharpunath Rural Municipality-1 on the night of November 24.
The injured were left alliance cadres 30 years old Deep Bahadur Shahi, Nepali Congress cadres 27 years old Man Bahadur Shahi, 45 years old Birjan Shahi and 36 years old Padam Shahi of the same Rural Municipality.
During the clash, left alliance cadres were accused of opening fire to congress cadres according to Nepali Congress chairperson Jayapati Rokaya. No one was injured by the bullet fire according to him. The cadres were injured after the stones were pelted on them. They are receiving treatment at Lali Health Post.
DSP Kamal Prasad Neupane of DPO said that the major reason behind the clash is the use of alcohol as cadres were in inebriated state.
