A complaint has been filed against Sagar Sahi, 35, of Ghodaghodi Municipality-1, Kailali and Sandesh Baskota, 19, of Mastakheti, Godawari Municipality-3, in accusation of gang-raping a 14-year-old girl at New Alpine Hotel in Chandranigahapur. The complaint was lodged at the Metropolitan Police Range’s Women, Children and Senior Citizens Service Centre, Kathmandu on September 28.
Among the accused involved in the incident, Sandesh Baskota was arrested from Kathmandu on September 28.
DSP Leela Raj Lamichhane of the Area Police Office, Chandranigahapur said since the incident spot is Chandrapur Municipality of Rautahat, a case of rape was filed at the Area Police Office, Chandranigahapur on September 30. He added that further investigation was ongoing based on the complaint filed by the victim.
According to DSP Lamichhane, the accused, Sagar Sahi is absconding. The girl has been examined at Chandranigahapur Hospital on September 30.
