Sabin Baniya of Bhimsen-5 was injured in a khukuri attack after a clash started over a dispute of transferring rural municipality’s center.
The dispute started on November 5 over the issue of whether to move rural municipality center to Baguwa or Ghyampesal. The dispute reached into its climax on the evening and Baniya was attacked with khukuri by one of the youth.
The assailant is not known yet as he was attacked with Khukuri from the crowd. Police said that no complaint has been lodged till November 6.
The victim sustained serious injuries on his hand, head and body parts and is rushed to the hospital in Kathmandu.
Security force has been mobilized in the area after the situation became tensed over the issue.
