The District Administration Office of Terathum has destroyed sub-standard food confiscated from various shops from Jirikhimti and Basantapur.
The administration had monitored various shops on September 26 and 27 after complaint of selling expired and inedible food in the market.
According to District Administration Office, the sub-standard food were destroyed in presence of assistant CDO Jaya Prakash Basnet, police and other officials.
The monitoring team had confiscated biscuits, noodles, oil, spices and other soft drinks.
