The students of Kalikot are facing difficulties after there is a shortage in course books since long time. Students could not get books even after the beginning of education session six months ago.
In Karnali Secondary School, Dudhesilla, Deuti, Kalika Basic School and Saraswoti Secondary School in Palata Rural Municipality are facing shortage in books for the standard 2 to 9 according to parent Bharat Raj Bista.
Similar problem are in other schools of the district. The District Education Officer Bishnu Prasad Tiwari said that the delay in supply of book is due to the delay in transport of book by Janak Education Center.
Students were given holidays after the shortage of books according to principal DUrga Bhatta of Janajyoti Secondary School.
