The District Court of Jumla has ordered to sentence 20 years old Rajendra Bahadur Shahi for five years after finding him guilty on molesting four years old girl. Prior to this decision, the accused was acquitted by the District Court of Kalikot.
Complaint against the accused was lodged for molesting the girl on December 26, 2015 however, the district court of Kalikot had given a clean chit to the accused on 2016 June 27 due to the insufficient evidences.
The victim’s party had however lodged writ at High Court of Jumla seeking for justice.
