Karna Bahadur Sarki, 42 of Musikot Municipality -4, Badagaun Hulogade was severely beaten on July 8 on charge of not cleaning dishes.
The victim said that he was severely beaten by 40 years old Shobha Karki and her 25 years old son Krishna Karki on charge of not cleaning the dirty dishes in one hotel in Halogade.
The victim’s party had lodged a complaint at District Police Office on July 9 against the accused.
ASI Satya Narayan Yadav said that the accused had severely beaten the victim for not cleaning the dishes and urinating.
He added that both parties were summoned in the police office for the discussion however due rainfall and obstruction in road the discussion could not be made yet.
The victim is undergoing treatment at District Hospital of Tamghas and he sustained a deep injury on his head. He also has several bruises over his body.
Local Meera B.K said that in hotel and local shops, Dalit are compelled to wash their dishes by themselves and if not, they will be tortured.
