Police have arrested District Committee Secretary Purna Bahadur Katuwal,50 of Nepal Communist Party on June 21 on charge of planning to operate anti-election activities in the district.
He was arrested by a team of police from Area Police Office Katari after getting information that he is planning to obstruct the upcoming local level election according to DSP Om Bahadur Rana of DPO.
He was arrested in direction from Home Ministry and anyone operating such activities will be arrested according to DSP Rana. The cadres of Nepal Communist party are half underground after the search for them has been expedited in the district.
