In Rukum District 31 polling stations are categorized as a sensitive regarding the security.
Four polling stations are categorized as sensitive and 27 are categorized as too sensitive according to the District Police Office.
In these sensitive areas, the security has been tightened for the election according to DSP Angur GC of DPO. According to him in each booth there will be at least 15 temporary police, seven policemen from Nepal Police, civil police and Nepal army.
Police said that due to the remote geographic condition of the district, there is a possibility of obstruction from Nepal Communist Party. Police said that the security has been tightened in the district.
