Election date at Dhulikhel municipality ward no 12 of Kavrepalanchowk district has been rescheduled for May 17.
Chief District Officer Shiva Prasad Simkhada informed that the election date at Dhulikhel municipality ward no 12 was rescheduled for May 17 with the direction from the Election Commission due to the death of Suk Lal Tamang, 55, the candidate for the post of ward member. Election was scheduled to take place on May 14.
For the vacant post, filing of candidacy will be held on Friday. The vote count in Dhulikhel municipality begins after the election at ward no 12. There are three voting centres in the ward.
