Police have arrested 22 years old Jubida Khatun and 33 years old Alauddin Miya of Sandhikharka Municipality-4 on January 3 on charge of polygamy. They were arrested based on a complaint lodged by the victim Safina Miya.
The victim had lodged a comlaint at District Police Office on January 1 demanding for the action against them.
According to the victim woman, accused duo had married on November 10. DSP Nawa Ratna Paudel of District Police Office said that they were arrested for the further investigation.
