Police said that Bir Bahadur Rokka,56 of Phulbari, Salkhjhandi VDC-1 has injured his daughter in-law Seema Rokka,35 by stabbing her on the evening of December 24.
Inspector Bimal Parajuli of Area Police Office of Saljhandi said that the father-in-law had stabbed his daughter in-law in her stomach in an inebriated state.
The injured Seema was rushed to medical college in Bhairahawa for treatment on a same day and doctors involved in her treatment said that she is out of danger.
The search for the accused is on the way according to inspector Parajuli.
