Police have arrested 28 years old Durga Bahadur Pariyar of Syalakhadi VDC-3 and 21 years old Bishnu Maya Pariyar of the same place on November 24 on charge of polygamy.
DSP Angur G.C said that the accused were arrested based on a complaint lodged by the accused first wife Mana Maya. The complaint was lodged at District Police Office by the victim on November 10 for polygamy.
Similarly, Prakash Baram, 41 of Musikot Municipality-4 and Muna KC, 21 of Chiwang VDC-6 were arrested by the police on November 23 from their house on charge of polygamy.
According to DSP GC, victim Lila Baram, a first wife of an accused, had lodged a complaint of polygamy at District police Office on November 19.
