The assembly of Human Rights activists held in Dhanusha district on November 22 has formed 21 member Human rights coalition in coordination of INSEC district representative Binod Kuma Mahara.
The assembly has chosen INSEC district representative Mahara as a coordinator and Third alliance human rights officer Kiran Karna as a secretary of the coalition.
The meeting held immediately after formation of coalition has decided to organize, rally and candle light program on Human RIghts day on December 10. In the meeting, human rights officer Rewa Regmi from Janakpur regional office was present.
The coalition will actively participate on making the state responsible towards the protection of Human Rights along with documentation, investigation and monitoring of human rights violation incidents.
