Bhajan Human Rights Award selection Committee of the district has requested to recommend the name of a person for this year’s Bhajan Human Rights award.
Basanta Gautam, coordinator of the selection committee requested to recommend the name of a person during a meeting of Human Rights coalition held in Nepalgunj on November 8 organized by INSEC regional office.
Bhajan Memorial Fund has been felicitating a person with “Bhajan Human Rights Award” in every two years who is contributing in Human Rights and social justice sector.
A senior officer, Bhajan Ram Chaudhary of INSEC mid-regional office, Nepalgunj was killed in 2012 May 29 after he was hit by a micro-bus during morning walk session.
